Patients recovering from surgery and those needing frequent care and attention are hospitalized in the recovery area where they are continually monitored. Dogs and cats needing less frequent monitoring are housed in separate areas, though they are never alone.
Regular supervision, along with hugs, snuggles and walks, is ongoing throughout the day by our technicians and technician assistants.
Pets with contagious diseases are isolated from other patients and boarders.
“Angel” is recovering from surgery for a leg fracture, and sports an E-collar (aka – “lampshade”) to keep her from chewing and licking the surgery site and bandage. She is total cuteness!
