Cindy has always had a love for animals. As a small child and up into her teens she was the girl that brought home every stray animal she came across and loved being a part of the local 4-H club. She has lived in Canandaigua for nearly all her life, except for a move to Ohio where she worked for a county Humane Society. She has also worked for a Wildlife Education group and has also attended school at Medaille College in Buffalo.
She still lives in Canandaigua with her husband Brian. Together they have 7 children, 3 grandchildren, their dogs Mike the Jack Russell & Amber the Australian Cattle Dog/ Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Siamese cat Ella, blind Amazon parrot Gilligan, African Pygmy Hedgehog Henry, and chinchilla brothers Felix & Oscar.
When she's not at work, she's usually spending time with family and her pets or outside where she enjoys hiking, kayaking and just being out in nature!
Jenn studied at Finger Lakes Community College and is a certified dog trainer. While at work she enjoys visiting and helping our four legged friends. Including puppy training, animal rescue and working dogs.
Together with her husband they have a daughter, three dogs (two german shepherds and one australian shepherd/rottie mix), a hamster, some turkeys, chickens and bees.
When she's not at work she's usually spending time hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, and spending time outside with family and pets.
Working in reception, Benji enjoys welcoming new patients to our hospital and providing the best service for their owners from check in to check out.
Benji was raised surrounded by animals, with his family fostering over a dozen dogs and cats when he was younger. He grew up in his hometown Charlotte, North Carolina and now lives in the Henrietta area where he helps his boyfriend take care of brother and sister Maine Coon cats, Paulie and Alia. Benji graduated with a degree in Fine Arts in 2020 and is honing his skills to paint pet portraits!
Outside of work, Benji can be found in his art studio working on his latest painting or in the kitchen experimenting with new flavors. His favorite way to spend a day off is with a book in his hand or camping in the mountains.
